I probably only live 5 or 6 hours away from the Grand Canyon, but surprisingly, I've never been to it. Now that this new Grand Canyon Skywalk has opened up, it motivates me more to want to visit this place. I am such a yellow belly when it comes to heights and such, but this seems like too much of a cool thing to pass up. A bit scary, but stunning all the same. Maybe I can convince Chris to go sometime. I just hope I won't wuss out if I have the opportunity to walk this....

The cigar may have been tightly rolled up in its plastic and secured neatly in his breast pocket, but the rich aroma of it still managed to waft up to his nose. Benjamin could not wait to tear off that wrapper, plop onto the living room recliner cozily molded to his behind, and get that thing lit up. It was to be his savior from a long hard day. This morning, Chris drooled and ogled because of me...because of me playing him the new Shakira/Beyonce video..lol. Needless to say, he was pretty transfixed by it. What a dangerous combination for men...might cause some pulses to go on overdrive. Oh, and try asking Chris what he thought of the song....you'll probably get silence because he didn't pay attention to it.

I have a new computer that I haven't done much with. What is this world of skinning...and where can I learn more about it? And we are talking total novice here. I've been to the wincustomize site, but it's a bit indimidating (and overwhelming) to see all of those visuals and info on the homepage if you've never dealt with this before.

Maybe you've seen this video. It was shared with us during a professional training...just opens my eyes to how fast our world is changing, how much technology is impacting our world, and the urgent need to prepare our young ones for this type of future. Powerful.

We have been studying the American Revolution for the past two weeks in class. Today, we finally got the to last part of the war. The Marquis de Lafayette's name came up, of course, and we discussed his importance. After the discussion, one of my students raises his hand and says, "Oh...that's his name.
