Hope you enjoy my little bits of this and that. :) I can't promise they'll always be interesting. :)

How pathetic is this?

I am at work, sitting at my desk on my laptop...typing furiously and with a stern look on my face. Suddenly, one of my students comes in (this is after school) and is holding an order form. I immediately know what it is. A Girl Scout Cookie order form. I smile before a word even comes out of her mouth. She says, "Ms._________, I am selling Girl Scout cookies. Would you...."
I interrupt her and say, "Of course I will buy some...you just made my day." She looks at me like I'm a kook and laughs.

So, here is some of what I'm getting in a few weeks: Namely, Samoas, Tagalogs, and Cafe cookies (a new low fat variety...to make me feel less guilty about the other two).

And THIS makes me happy. How pathetic. I'm such a pig.

Oh, don't worry...I'll be (hesitantly) sharing these, so I should be okay...lol

You rock so hard.

Wish my teachers in school were as awesome as you are woman.

And I haven't heard of the new low fat variety...doesn't that just mean more sugar? hahahahaha.  Who cares!  Bring them on!

Make sure you write a blog about how they taste.  Just in case I don't get any this year.

LOL...yeah, the low fat ones probably do mean more sugar.

I'll definitely post a cookie tasting blog in the near future.

And btw, I think one of the reasons for my happiness was because I didn't get to order any last year...lol.

Yeah? We are usually bombarded with offers to buy.

I think there is something addicting put into the mint chocolate ones...because no matter how long I'm on the wagon, a little girl offering temptation always sends me into a binge. buwhahahahhaha.

Samoas are the greatest cookies in the whole wide world. I can't get enough of them.

See what I mean?

Forget area 51 or whatever # it is...girl scouts are all about conspiracy theory.

They come around and the wallet just flies open . . . I think it's drugs in the cookies!

Those tagalongs are dang good, too . . .

We bought some new ones this year, I don't remember what they're called, but I'm sure excited for them to come already.

Can you imagine the voter turn out if girl scout cookies were "a box a vote?" heh

NEW YORK TIMES...

Yep, I think so, too. I didn't order any this year, but I'm sure someone will have some I can try.

I remember I got a small piece of the fudge Tova sent, so I'm hoping for at least ONE peanut butter patty.

All I can say is (in a bad impersonation of Homer Simpson) Hhhgggglll, cookies...

I already knew it was Girl Scout cookie time. How? While I was sitting and draining my pint yesterday, one of the workers came in with the order form and was soliciting fellow workers (not us vampees).

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the pictures on the order form.

Last year I didn't get solicited, but I have a feeling this year I may have a few more people asking me.
