For YoU on your Birthday. =)

I know you will be reading this today,
And I want to say....
Happy Birthday, Honey.

I want to remind you what makes you so special to me...and why you should celebrate who you are....

You came thousands and thousands of miles from your home to come live with me....As much as you miss your family, as much as the unknown concerns you,
you did it for me....You make the best of every situation you have encountered here.

You are comforting and tender and loving; you are affectionate and warm--a side that not too many people know about....You KNOW you are just a big teddy bear beneath that tough exterior.

You are a glass-is-half-full type of guy....and you are influencing this glass-is-half -empty girl in such a positive way.

You are funny and clever and can trade wits with the best of them. I know you think you are goofball...but you know, that’s what I love best about you...

You are a very intelligent man. You continue to surprise and impress me with the knowledge that is inside of you...it can lead you to a path of great and wonderful things, you know.

You are so thoughtful...not only to me, but to everyone you care about....You always know the right thing to say, the perfect thing to get, the best thing to do for a person...You have put yourself last so many times to make sure everyone else is taken care of.

You may not be perfect and you may not be flawless, but you are you, and this “you” is the man I fell in love with.

Happy Birthday.

....and btw, don’t forget to make a wish when you blow the candles out from your homemade cake later on....
