i wouldn't get too close if i were you...
I'm going on a month with this on-again, off-again sore throat....lozenges and sprays no longer work..tylenol only lasts so long, and warm liquds are something I cannot do all day (wish I could). I wouldn't say I am miserable, but it is pretty close to that; it sucks....I am caving in and going to the doctor. When I call and explain my symptoms to the nurse, she says "oh, yeah...a lot of that is going around". So I am thinking, "Are they just going to do me a quick once over, prescribe anti-biotics, and shoo me away? Gosh...I hope it IS something that will be cured with antibiotics....but I guess it has to be bacterial...dunno if viral would last this long....It hurts when I swallow, and it even affects my ear....Yikes, I hope it is not strep throat!
Also, while I was trying to enjoy my christmas vacation with the b/f, not only did I have that throat thing to deal with, I also got some sort of pink eye!....I hadn't had one of those since I was a teenager....It cleared away, but since then, my eyes feel kinda dry, and kinda itchy...It doesn't help that I have a class full of children that bring germs in and out the door everyday.
I feel like such a "germ" lately....It would be nice to feel 100% again...
