Hope you enjoy my little bits of this and that. :) I can't promise they'll always be interesting. :)
I am not a fan of our President...and didnt vote for him....But I am glad he chose Alberto Gonzalez. I think it is a good step towards reaching out to minorities and supporters of a diversified White House. As a fellow Texan and Hispanic, I only wish him the best. I know some negative things have come out about him; however, to me he is someone to be admired by our community. Although he was the son of migrant workers and came from humble beginnings, his parents valued education, and pushed their children to be the best they can be. Because of this, he has come to be the first Hispanic to be nominated for such a prestigious position in our nation.

So am I.

I am glad for my fellow Hispanic and hope he is but the first of many minorities be infused into the highest levels of Federal Government.

Isn't so strange that Hispanics are not only the fast growing minority, but ThE largest minority now....and you don't find much high level representation from them. I am hoping this is just the beginning of changes that have been a long time comin'.
