Hope you enjoy my little bits of this and that. :) I can't promise they'll always be interesting. :)
I haven't seen anyone put up a writing challenge for a while, and I was thinking maybe we can do a Haiku Of the Week post...where a topic is put up that you can create into a haiku.

Haikus have been a favorite of mine since middle school. In case you don't know, a haiku is basically three lines of writing, with a 5-7-5 syllable pattern.

If some of you are interested, here is the first topic:

"Boredom"

Hope to see some linked on here.

Haiku! I'll have to dust off the old poetry writing cranial cap, because I love those little buggers . . .

Good challenge Rose! I'll post mine as soon as I can.

Here's my first submission:

"Death"

Here's my second submission. (What have you done, Rose, what have you done?!?)

It's in another traditional haiku form, with the syllabic computation of 3-5-3 instead of 5-7-5.

Let's see how long it takes to get another one.

Haiku is boring
It's not like it's hard to write
But I can't resist.

Trying to catch up to SanChonino, but with quality of haiku at Mason's level.
