Hope you enjoy my little bits of this and that. :) I can't promise they'll always be interesting. :)

I log onto Netscape news everyday to look at the latest goings on. The following article, dealing with Gingrich and "WWIII" has gotten so much attention over there, it's insane. It's been either the top or one of the top stories greeting me since yesterday. Over 700 comments and going strong.

The Link does not work except in cut and paste.  But I know the comments.  I guess, so you agree? Or disagree?

hmmm...I wish someone could help me with the link. I did see that it works when I go into forums.

As far as what I think, it seems pretty scary that he would have to go to that extreme to declare a world war.

that he would have to go to that extreme to declare a world war.

AH!  I see the problem.

Does he have that capability?  To declare a world war?

He only opined one.  It is up to (and really not) us to decide if he is right or wrong.

I do understand that he is only wishing for this situation, but I can see how it can bring out the passionate responses in people that are so against it, and even those who are in total agreement with him.

It's been WWIII for some time now... we just called it "Peace" because either the U.S. wasn't involved, or only one side was doing most the killing. We let nations act as if they aren't at war (with each other, or with the U.S.) just because their troops aren't on the ground, in their nation's uniform. Newt Gingrich simply stated the 1 fact the current Congress refuses to admit. They weakly and pathetically speak around the facts, Gingrich simply stated what has been fact for awhile now. I guess to them, as long as they don't say it out loud, it isn't happening.
