I am slowly noticing that I’m picking up my guy’s mannerisms. That certain way he says “What the hell...”, well, I am saying it in exactly the same tone now. And the way he gets opinionated about idiot drivers, well, I find myself getting irate at them in the same way.
He’ll make up weird names for people...For example, if he hears a woman being loud, he’ll say something like, “Dang, loudness, quiet down.” Or if he sees a person out in the street wearing a big coat on a not so cold day, he’d say, “Easy there, eskimo.” Well, I did that same thing a few weeks ago, when I saw a huge brown truck tailing me in traffic. I looked in my rearview mirror and exclaimed, “Dang, crazy brown clunker, back off!” Right after I said it, I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I am turning into Chris...’
I also say “ouchie” like he does, pick up something to read a few minutes after I wake up like he does (well, at least on the weekends), mimic some of his laundry techniques and cooking techniques...and have also started watching and liking some of the shows he does.
I guess it shouldn’t be surprising to take up other people’s habits if you are around them long enough. I should ask him though, what, if anything, he's picked up from ME...it’d be interesting to hear about.

Just watch him and listen real close and you'll see what he's doing and saying just like you! chances are there's at least a few things
I did this with my ex-boyfriend, then my son would kid me about it. I'd say things like " this is really a good buy hey." Everything ended in the word "hey"
I suppose there was other things just don't recall them now.
tried to give you a cookie on the insightfulness, however it's not working right now, will try again later

Is always surprising when ya realize someone else is rubbing off on you. Kinda like an ink stain.

LoL at your son kidding you.
I think I'm going to start doing that...silently observing him to see if he's caught any of my habits.

Thanks for trying, anyway.

Haha, that's cute and funny!
It's amusing and amazing how that happens isn't it? After so many years of marriage my hubby and I kinda know how we will react to certain things. I guess if I really think about it we probably copy the other on one thing or another too. Although we're both still evolving in that we seem to learn something new everyday, which is good because it keeps us on our toes!
