Hope you enjoy my little bits of this and that. :) I can't promise they'll always be interesting. :)

What are you doing at this moment (or this hour...or this day...)?

Right now, I am letting a peanut butty (lol...I have to keep this typo. I meant peanut butter of course) and strawberry jelly sandwich settle in my stomach.  I hope it doesn't cause any harm (I've been getting stomach pains lately).  I'm also drinking some apple juice.

I am also searching for public domain photos to put into a video I am creating (I am halfway done).  In about half an hour--if I don't catch IDon'tWantTo-itis--I'll be shredding a few hundred letters and pieces of paperwork I have allowed to grow and grow...sigh.

On an aside, someone asked me the other day if I was already bored of my summer since I am not working right now (I actually declined an offer to work this summer...what's wrong with them asking me on my last day??  Hmmmm...someone on their list must have cancelled at the last minute).

Well, my answer to his question was an absolute No.

I am waking up late and am only doing things when I feel like it.  I am catching up on reading, on chores, and movies.  I am getting artsy and creative in my home and on the computer. I am trying to enjoy myself despite some health issues that I am having. I am enjoying extra time with Chris.

So, it's safe to say that I am not bored of my summer thus far.

As for my health issues, which I didn't want to rant about up there, I think I might have IBS...or maybe a kidney stone or something.  I need to get connected with a good doctor around here.

This issue became worse after the death of a relative two weeks ago.  Anxiety, stress, and sadness piled on for a while there.  I am feeling better...but I still need to get this checked out.

At this moment I am sitting in a hotel room nearly 400 miles from home reading your blog! Anyway, here's my assignmet for you:

1. Enjoy your summer and the attendant time off.
2. Keep Chris out of trouble (if that's even possible   )
3. And last but not least: get those health issues looked into! Now!

I plan to.

2. Keep Chris out of trouble (if that's even possible )

Yikes...I'm trying.  He is so mischievious, though.

3. And last but not least: get those health issues looked into! Now!

I hope to soon.  Thanks for stopping by, Roy.

Rose,

At the moment, it is about 10 am and I'm taking a quick break to scan JU and make a few comments before getting back to work.  I'm feeling a bit sore after a hard weights workout last night but at the same time, I'm feeling really good.

I would be inclined to put number 3 on Roy's list first.  I had a similar problem a number of years ago that I let go unchecked for a while.  While it turned out to be nothing too serious (lactose/sucrose/glucose intolerances) I worried myself sick with it.  If you get this sorted first, then you can really relax and enjoy your summer holiday.

Otherwise, I do hope you have a good break and enjoy yourself.  If you can, get Chris to pull his finger out and send me some designs for the band.

Hi Rose,

Definitely take care of yourself so that you can enjoy the summer completely. You will need your strength to keep Chris out of trouble.

At this moment I am hiding from my 8 year old. I am taking a bit of a break before we go on a bike ride.

Your summer sounds great so far, except for the tummy ache. Enjoy! The fall will come sooner than you think.

Did you read this, Chris? Let's see the designs soon. I will heed your advice and get to a doc soon.  I shouldn't be putting it off.  Thanks for stopping by, Maso.

Hiya, Kelly.  I hope that you and your 8 year old had a nice bike ride.  That sounds like some cool summer fun.    You better believe that I will take advantage of my break.

Second all the comments above concerning health. And I want to also point out that stressing about something minor is worse than the issue itself. Get it checked out.

Oh, and what am I doing? Setting up iSCSI for a Food Stamp Public facing web application. Dont swoon at the excitement.

Rose! I hope you feel better today.  I wonder if your tummy aches have anything to do with ulcers or something? Get it checked ok?  Sounds to me like you are having fun doing what you want, when you want!  Keep enjoying it!

I agree with the stressing out being worse than the condition itself.  Wise words.  Good luck with your web application set up.

I have definitely suspected an ulcer.  Sigh...I'll have to see what it is.  Nice to see you, Donna.   Hope you are enjoying your summer, too.

Rose,

Did you hear all these nice people to go see a doctor?  See you better go and more importantly you should follow your doctor's advice and NOT ignore any medicine.

If you can, get Chris to pull his finger out and send me some designs for the band.

Sorry, mate. Just being a too much of a perfectionist and spending alot of time with Rose.
