Hope you enjoy my little bits of this and that. :) I can't promise they'll always be interesting. :)

Chris and I just came back from a road trip to southern N.M.  Among the places we visited were the lovely Mountains of Ruidoso (where we window shopped, took pics, and gambled just a teeny tiny bit) and the stunning White Sands near Alamogordo, NM (where we had fun in the sand and sun).

It was a lovely trip...and such a cool way to spend some of my Spring Break.  Also, we couldn't have asked for better weather .

These are some pics We took. Here is one:

Here are the rest

(I tried embedding the slideshow on here from slide.com, but for some reason it's not working...sigh):

I had a cousin that used to work at the White Sands missle range. Is it still there? I hadn't thought of it in ages. Anyway, other than going to Carlsbad caverns once and to Ruidosa as a child I haven't been many times to New Mexico.Oh! Wait! I DID go snow skiing (or what was supposed to be snow skiing, lol) once with a bunch of friends at Red River once. Boy, what a trip that was! But it was fun anyway!    (cool pics, too BTW!)

Maybe you'll write a story about Red River one day, Roy.

Nice pictures!  Glad you two had some time to travel!  The sand is really nice.
