My 2006--In Six Sentences or Less

*I had one of the most stressful years in my teaching career...I've only cried twice when it comes to stress at work, and this year I had one of those cries.

* I saw several of my family members leave home this year...all departures relating to the military. Two of them (my cousins) are doing well and I was able to see them for Christmas. The other (my brother in law) should be coming back home in March. My sister is definitely looking forward to that.

*A beloved family dog who resides at my grandmother's home died. I never wrote about "Baby", but I loved that dog...I helped nurture her when she was a weak little puppy, and saw her grow into a feisty gal.

* I began working out regularly again...and will not be daunted by lack of significant weight loss...this show must go on!

*My honey..after having not seen his family for a year, went to visit them this summer. While this is not my experience, I was very happy he was happy. I am glad he spent some valuable time with them. Having him away for almost two weeks also strengthened my love for him...I missed him so much and it made me realize how much of my heart he has.

*The latter part of this year has given us an opportunity to upgrade tech-wise. We now have a new PC and a digital media player, which has opened up a whole new world of "geekdom" for us...which is a good thing.

My 2007- in 7 Sentences or Less

*I will continue working out

*We will be working on saving some money to go on a trip somewhere (right now, the place of choice is Vegas).

*I will look more seriously into a Master's Degree program (I can't keep putting it off)

* I will not stand back and just let teaching happen to me...I have to become more of an initiator and risk taker.

*I will put some effort into getting more computer savvy.

*I will try to become a better communicator, especially for those I love.

Feel free to add your own...and if you don't want to add anything...hope you enjoy the reads.
